Supply Chain Practice Leader, Core Risks

Mr. Solomon has over 30 years of experience in Supply Chain and Finance, holding executive level positions with major pharmaceutical companies.  Mr. Solomon’s practice focuses upon helping clients identify the risks and opportunities inherent in their Supply Chain, developing and maintaining a robust Supply Chain and implementing sustainable Strategic Sourcing and Procurement processes. He is a frequent speaker on “Managing Risks in the Supply Chain.”

Prior to joining Core Risks Ltd. (CRL), Mr. Solomon was the Vice President of Strategic Procurement for Watson Pharmaceuticals, where he built a centralized Sourcing and Planning organization and was instrumental in Class “A” certification by Oliver Wight International. Prior to joining Watson, Mr. Solomon was the Director of Supply Chain Planning at Rhone Poulenc Rorer and Aventis, where he was responsible for the design, development and implementation of processes and systems directly attributable to the improved success of the organization.

Mr. Solomon started his career in Finance at Unisys where he held positions of increasing responsibility at several manufacturing sites and corporate positions before becoming fully engaged in the operating side of the business.

Mr. Solomon received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Ohio State University and his MBA from Rutgers University. He has been certified by APICS and has experience teaching certification training classes.
