William J. Mullin served at Merck & Co. for 37 years in positions that spanned Production, Technical Services and Quality Operations across the Merck global business, including his most recent role as Vice President of Sterile Quality Assurance. In this role he was responsible for the development and deployment of one quality system (Sterile Standards) defining expectations and practices across all of the Merck sterile sites producing sterile pharmaceuticals, biologicals, and vaccines following Merck’s merger activities. Bill has significant experience in all aspects of Quality Operations, Regulatory Affairs and Operations Management earned throughout his career.
Bill has an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from St. John’s University and an M.S. Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He is also on the Board of Trustees at Delaware Valley College, in Doylestown, Pa. and is an active Volunteer at the American Museum of Natural History, N.Y. where he is an Explainer at the Rose Center for Earth and Space, and a Museum Tour Guide and Docent.
